"Grateful" By Hezekiah Walker and Love Fellowship Choir

20/85 The Experience

"Grateful" By Hezekiah Walker and Love Fellowship Choir

I truly love this song! I have always liked just a few of Hezekiah Walker's songs that have a true worship for God like this one. Many know Hez is an extremely radical singer and many have questioned his position in the church. I am not a fan but when I first heard this song, I know God used him here. I just pray that God can truly use gospel artists like him to create music like this all of the time. God would be totally exalted hearing His praises in this way.

Enjoy!

"Yet I'm Still Saved" by Donald Lawrence and Soloist Robin Rowe-Stewart

Best Of: Restoring the Years

"Yet I'm Still Saved" by Donald Lawrence and Soloist Robin Rowe-Stewart

I am not a fan of Donald Lawrence but I have always liked this song, "Yet I'm Still Saved". Donald Lawrence adapted to traditional and new age gospel songs which was the start of the crossover to the new way but we can appreciate this song.

RIP Robin Rowe-Stewart (passed away in 2001)

Enjoy!

Rev. James Cleveland's "He Decided to Die"- The Greatest of Storytelling

Rev. James Cleveland's "He Decided to Die"- The Greatest of Storytelling

This is a classic song that puts us on the hill at Calvary that day Jesus gave His life for all of us. Rev. James Cleveland was the only man who could do gospel music like many of us remember and wish could still exist. Though Cleveland had controversy that followed his GMWA organization including his life, we want to just try and remember him as a great songwriter, composer and lover of traditional gospel music.

Enjoy!

Rev. Clay Evans' "God's Been So Good To Me" Will Bless Anyone Today

Rev. Clay Evans' "God's Been So Good To Me" Will Bless Anyone Today

This song is a gem! Rev. Clay Evans has always created the best choir music ever. We love him and he has, as far as we know, been very faithful to traditional gospel music that didn't lose its flavor!!

Sorry we can't embed the video here but you can see it here. Enjoy!

Daryl Coley Can Still Sing "He's Preparing Me" Live Like the Record's Playing

Daryl Coley Can Still Sing "He's Preparing Me" Live Like the Record's Playing

Though Daryl Coley has straddled the fence of traditional gospel music and R&B, he has proven throughout the years to still be about to use God's gift. We know that Daryl Coley discovered Kirk Franklin and this was the start of hip hop gospel. He's tried to adapt to the new age gospel trends, but his audience has shown to truly only love his songs from more 'church felt' melodies.

Let's enjoy the real music God wants. Now, just two years ago, he could sing this song like the record is playing without a crack nor a mistake.

Enjoy this traditional song that might have you falling out!
